I am Precious and I’m a church girl. I love Jesus and I have dedicated my life to live for him. There is nothing else I want to do with my life but serve Him here on earth.

How did I get here? I mean what made me want to serve him? How did it all start?

Well it all started when I was young and my grandmother always made us go to church. Since then, church has been part of my life but it only became more meaningful when I gave my life to Jesus at 16 years old. I gained a second family which is the body of Christ. Church was no longer a religious thing I did but a time to fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I realised that going to church was a necessity for me just like my time with my biological family. My immediate family provides me with love, shelter, protection and guidance; whilst, my church family provides a sense of community, fellowship and worship. Altogether, this support allows me to grow and engage within several communities for the purpose of preaching the word of God and offering spiritual guidance.

Through my love for church, I have developed a passion for Christian events. This started in July 2016 when I attended the Winter Gospel Explosion hosted by Apostle Jannie and Reverend Faith Ngwale in Pretoria, South Africa. This event featured South Africa’s best gospel artist; the likes of Bishop Benjamin Dube, Lebo Sekgobela, Mmatema Moremi with Thami Ngobeni and Buyile Mdladla as programme directors.

“During that time I was nursing a broken heart. Emotionally I was struggling and a friend of mine invited me to this event. I went there overwhelmed with emotional pain but came out wrapped in the love of God the Father. The worship that night brought me to the presence of God and I was healed and in love with Jesus more than ever before. I had so much joy in my heart that my relationship with God continued to grow after that event. I came out of that dark place in my life stronger. I knew from that day onward that these are the type of events I want to attend in the future. Christian events add so much value to your relationship with God.”
